FISHERY RULES, CONDITIONS OF USE & SITE SPECIFICS

These rules have been drawn up to protect the fish stocks, anglers and wildlife. Our general rules apply site wide while the site specific rules are applicable to the waters they are named under.​

Breeches of the rules may result in anglers being asked to leave the fishery. If the rules and conditions of the fishery are broken and anglers are asked to leave no refunds will be given.

Our general rules apply across all of our waters unless otherwise stated, please see the above tabs for site specific additions.

​

  • Classic Carp Ltd accept no responsibility for any injury, illness or damage to persons or property in connection with the facilities provided at the fishery.

​​

  • Anglers must park in designated areas and close all gates having passed through.

​

  • Members may be accompanied by partners/wives/young children on their session but strictly no other guests or visitors are permitted.

​

  • Fish care antiseptic liquids should be carried and used on all sores, lifted scales and hook holds.

​

  • Report any lost tackle to the Fishery Manager as soon as possible. This includes cut offs and crack offs, irrespective of whether a fish was involved or not.

​

  • Please respect the toilets and facilities, ensure they are left clean/tidy after use.

​

  • Any abuse or violence to any other anglers, public or staff will not be tolerated.

​

  • Report all damage to fishery fences, facilities and property immediately.

​

  • Permit holders shall not add to, remove or alter in any way the banks, trees & land surrounding the lakes.

​

  • All Environment Agency rules apply.

​

  • An angler can only occupy one swim at any one time – No bucketing.

​

  • All fish to be returned to the pits as soon as possible. Strictly No Carp Sacks.

​

  • Anglers must not engage in any activity or angling practice that endangers the fish stocks, wildlife or water bodies of Classic Carp Ltd. ​(It is your responsibility to make sure your rigs are safe).

​

  • Anglers wanting to publish vlogs, blogs or any other commercial promotion must have prior permission.

​​

  • No: litter, Fires, Wading, Swimming, Drones, weapons, bait boats. No plastic/artificial baits or foam. 

​​

  • It is compulsory to send in catch reports/pictures of any fish, this is essential for effective fisheries management. Send all fish pictures to a member of staff within 1 week of capture. - Anglers that do not send in their catch pictures may not be invited to rejoin the following season.

Cove Bookings

​

  • Only landing nets, weigh slings and unhooking mats provided must be used.

 

  • No leaders, tubing only

 

  • Bait boats are permitted

 

  • No dogs

 

  • Fishing is only permitted on the designated 10 swims

 

  • Snagged fish must be reported please call a bailiff – we have members on site qualified to help on the boat.
